Sustainability first

Thermo wood or thermally modified wood is wood heated at 180° to 230°C temperature and gained material is natural, resulted from high temperature and pressure. No chemical substances are used at any stage of the process. From the very beginning till
the end the process is environmentally friendly throughout its life cycle and
decomposition.

Why thermo wood

• Fully natural,
  environment friendly product and may be produced fom renewable resources only
• May be
  used indoors and outdoors at any climatic conditions. It does not shrink, swell
  and crack.
• Predicted life cycle of thermally modified pine wood is at least 30 years (without necessity to use chemical substances for wood protection from parastites), which is 5 times more than wood without thermal modification.
• Practically does not swell and shrink under the circumstances of humidity and termperature.
• Does not contain resin - it vaporizes during the process.
• NOT a favourable environment for wood parasites, which are the main reason of rot (the structure of hemicellulose - nutrient of parasites has been vastly affected during the heating process).
